Announcement of promotion to Senior Associates
We are pleased to announce the promotion of Elizabeth Goh Huay Ling, Arjun Chandra Kumar and Ng Chu Yin to the position of Senior Associate in the Firm with effect from January 2023.
ELIZABETH GOH HUAY LING

Elizabeth’s areas of practice encompass corporate and commercial litigation and advisory, insolvency, employment law and industrial relations, intellectual property and IT and telecommunication, matrimonial and family, probate and estate administration and Environmental, Social and Governance related matters. With her vast areas of practice, Elizabeth has acted for local and international clients ranging from corporations to individual personalities.
She is a member of the National Legal Aid Foundation and the Kuala Lumpur Legal Aid Foundation.
ARJUN CHANDRA KUMAR

Arjun’s main area of practice is in Industrial Relations & Employment Law. Arjun’s experience includes representing companies in Court against claims filed by employees for reinstatement arising from dismissal, constructive dismissal and retrenchment. He has also represented companies in inquiries before the Director General of Labour against claims filed by employees for unpaid wages and payment in lieu of notice. Additionally, Arjun’s experience includes advisory work for local and multinational employers and employees on various aspects of employment law, such as termination, restructuring and retrenchment exercises and drafting and reviewing employment contracts, employee handbook and policies for companies.
Arjun is also experienced in general litigation matters including shareholders disputes, insider trading, strata management disputes, land reference disputes and defamation.
Arjun is a member of the National Young Lawyers and Pupils Committee of the Bar Council from 2020 – present.
NG CHU YIN

Chu Yin is an Advocate and Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya who obtained her first degree in Quantity Surveying. Prior to her legal career, she worked 13 years in the construction industry across three different jurisdictions (Malaysia, Australia, and New Zealand).
She currently practices in the areas of construction, engineering, and infrastructure. Her involvements primarily focus on litigation, arbitration, and adjudication proceedings. She also undertakes advisory works and construction project management works.
