Azman Davidson & Co at the Legalink APAC Regional Meeting in Perth

Azman Davidson & Co was pleased to participate in the Legalink APAC Regional Meeting in Perth, Western Australia, hosted by fellow Legalink member firm, Piper Alderman.

Our Partners Sonia Abraham, Chairperson of Legalink, Rajendra Navaratnam and Koh Suan Suan joined 30 delegates representing 11 jurisdictions for a programme of discussions on key legal, regulatory and commercial developments across the Asia-Pacific region. The event was opened by Sonia as Chairperson of Legalink together with Simon Venus, Partner at Piper Alderman.

The programme covered a broad range of topics, including cross-border collaboration, international arbitration and transnational litigation, digital transformation and privacy, developments in the mining and resources sector, Australia’s energy transition, and investment opportunities. The discussions provided valuable insights into the opportunities and challenges facing businesses and their advisers across the region.

Beyond the substantive discussions, the meeting provided an excellent opportunity to strengthen relationships and foster closer collaboration among members of the Legalink network. Highlights included a reception at The Ritz-Carlton Perth and a closing programme in the Swan Valley.
