Amitaesh Thevananthan

Amitaesh graduated with LLB (Hons) (Taylor’s University) in 2020 with First Class Honours.  He was admitted to the High Court of Malaya on 12^th May 2023 and joined Azman Davidson & Co on 2^nd January 2024.

• Obtained Mareva Injunctions against entities based in causes of action of fraud, conspiracy, breach of duty and misrepresentation
• Acted and advised on the settlement of a dispute at the Singapore International Arbitration Centre
• Assisted counsel in a claim involving the reverse takeover of a company by a public listed entity on the AIM London Stock Exchange
• Negotiated and advised on the settlement of a cross border dispute between a Singaporean listed entity and a Hong Kong entity
• Assisted counsel at the Court of Appeal in a case involving the forfeiture of seized goods under Section 56 of the Anti-Money Laundering, Anti-Terrorism Financing and Proceeds of Unlawful Activities Act 2001
• Advised and assisted in negotiations in several share sale agreements
