In this area of practice, we represent clients who are both employers and employees.

This area of practice has developed a distinct body of law of its own and merits careful consideration in today’s commercial world. The advice provided by us usually pertains to contracts of employment, employment and professional visit passes, employment handbooks, disciplinary action against employees, the termination of employment for misconduct or poor performance or redundancy, EPF and SOCSO contributions, union recognition and collective agreements, voluntary separation schemes, the closure of businesses and the change of ownership of businesses because of restructuring or mergers or acquisition.

The services that we provide include litigation in the Labour Court, Industrial Court and High Court. We also advise on dismissals and employment issues arising from business reorganisation, retrenchment and related matters.
