Georgina Lim Ern Ling

Georgina Lim was admitted to the High Court of Malaya on 31^st March 2023 and joined Azman Davidson & Co on 1^st July 2024.

• Acted as junior counsel in an international arbitration concerning hydrogen reformers in an action for breach of contract and negligence.
• Acted as junior counsel at the High Court, Court of Appeal and Federal Court in a series of interlocutory applications including but not limited to a point of law concerning the ambit and scope of the Federal Court decision which held that an adjudication decision that has been enforced cannot be stayed pending arbitration proceedings
• Acted as junior counsel at the High Court and Court of Appeal in a series of civil suits concerning an action for breach of contract, fraud, conspiracy to injure and negligence involving the employer, architect, quantity surveyor and contractor
• Successfully defended against an application brought by a subsidiary of a government-linked company to declare an ongoing adjudication proceeding void on grounds of fraud
• Assisted in a high profile suit involving misfeasance in public office arising from wrongdoings in relation to a state-linked investment fund.
