Allison Ong Lee Fong

Allison was admitted to the High Court of Malaya on 4 October 2007. She joined Azman Davidson & Co on 1 April 2011. The nature of the firm allows her to observe values that are close to her heart, namely, to practise law with humanity and to keep a firm focus on honesty and integrity.


  • Involved in dispute resolution relating to land and property, contracts, negligence, construction defects and other civil matters
  • Assisted in, amongst others, High Court trial involving disputes of the design and construction of the Sungai Prai Bridge and judicial review proceedings initiated by the liquidators in which the High Court reaffirmed that leave requirement for any action against a company under liquidation is to be extended even to proceedings at the Industrial Court
  • Conducted proceedings before the Labour Office and appeared as a junior counsel in proceedings before the Industrial Court
  • Assisted in advisory work for local and multinational employers and employees on various aspects of employment law, such as termination, reorganisation retrenchment, drafting of contracts of employment, mutual separation agreements and performance improvement plans
  • Engaged in family and probate practice such as the resolution of matrimonial disputes, adoption matters, obtaining grants of probate and letters of administration, resealing of grants, drafting of estate planning documents (such as wills, trust deeds, deeds of family arrangements and power of attorney) as well as administration of estates.
  • Practised banking litigation, commercial debt recovery and insolvency


  • Acted as a co-counsel in a High Court trial involving a claim of RM1.8 million by a contractor company against an international school in respect of the construction contract of a school building. Successfully obtained a judgment against the international school and a court order to open up, review and revise the Certificates of Extension of Time in relation to a Stop Work Order issued by DBKL and remobilisation
  • Successfully obtained a court order for the adoption by a pair of adoptive parents of a child whom they had been taking care of for a period of 7 years. The consent of the uncooperative biological father was dispensed with in the interest and welfare of the child
  • Successfully obtained a court order to strike down a condition in the Last Will and Testament of a deceased which prohibits disposal of the property bequeathed to a beneficiary on the grounds, amongst others, that any condition which restricts alienation upon the beneficiary being given an absolute interest is void under the law
  • Assisted in a trial at the Industrial Court and successfully defended a multinational company against a constructive dismissal claim
  • Renders legal opinions and reviews agreements for a non-profit social enterprise in Malaysia
